Meet Emma
Studio Manager & Course Co-Ordinator
Emma started her career in beauty therapy which progressed into makeup artistry, working many years as a celebrity makeup artist. Her industry knowledge, skill in juggling a long client list, paired with a love to organise makes her the perfect person to manage the studio and training academy and we feel very lucky to have her at the heart of the business. Any enquiries go through Emma and she is only too happy to help.
Meet Christine
DIRECTOR, HEAD PMU ARTIST, SMP SPECIALIST & HEAD TRAINER
Christine first entered the world of make-up artistry in 2006 when she trained in make-up and hair for film, tv, and fashion at Delamar Academy in London. She worked as a Make-up Artist for 8 years, and was one of the first people to bring eyelash extensions and HD Brows to Edinburgh, before deciding to venture into the field of semi-permanent make-up in 2014. What was originally meant to be just another string to her bow soon took over and providing semi-permanent brow, eye and lip treatments for clients replaced all other treatments/ work she did.
In 2017, Christine saw a gap in the market for high quality permanent makeup training in Scotland and so she set up the CA SPMU Academy where she offered fully accredited beginner courses in semi-permanent brows. The Academy has gone from strength to strength and now offers both beginner and advanced training in Brows, Liner and Lips. Christine has put her heart and soul into the courses she designs, both in person and online and takes great pride in watching her students create their own profitable businesses.
In 2019, after being fascinated with and having researched Scalp Micropigmentation for years, Christine joined the world’s no.1 SMP provider, SKALP, and opened the Edinburgh Branch of SKALP, bringing top quality SMP treatments to Scotland.

About Kelley
SENIOR PMU ARTIST & TRAINER
Kelley began her SPMU journey as a client of Christine’s. She was a ‘Brow’ girl and knew exactly what she wanted. Once she experienced just how amazing it was to have fabulous brows all day, every day… she decided she wanted to learn how to offer this amazing treatment to other women. So after working 20 years in the NHS she made the decision to sign up for one of Christine’s Beginner Brow courses and took quickly to the art of tattooing. She first worked on her own in Edinburgh, but once a space became available for her to join the studio where her brow journey began, she jumped at it, and Christine couldn’t be more pleased.
Kelley now assists Christine on any training course with more than 2 students to ensure each student receives the required attention needed for the best learning experience possible.

About Claire
PMU ARTIST/ SMP SPECIALIST
After beating out 20 + other candidates, Claire joined the CA SPMU team in 2020 and has worked closely with Christine to learn & perfect all brow and lip techniques. Having had previous Scalp Micropigmentation experience with another company, Claire joined the Skalp Edinburgh team and completed the intensive Skalp training program, refining and levelling up her SMP skills, and now restores hairlines, hair density and confidence for both male and female clients alongside Christine.
You will also see Claire assisting on busy training courses, ensuring our students get the attention/ support they require.
